It's Been a Looong Time

How have you been?

Finally finished - the picture that took more than 20 hours out of my life :f

Drew this to celebrate my current huge Portal obsession! I had a big need to draw GLaDOS, and I tried to do my best, even if I've never drawn any robots/mechanical stuff before. It turned out that I'm not as bad on them as I thought. This is one of these rare I'm-happy-with-how-it-turned-out pictures. I had to change some things in her design because I wasn't sure how to draw them, or add some things on my own just because I liked it there, but generally I tried to stay close to her original design :3

She's also my favourite character from the game, not that I have any characters I DON'T like. I'm amazed at how Valve made me feel so sorry for EVERY SINGLE THING that tried to kill me.

GLaDOS is very fun to draw and doodle, and I think that I may draw her again some time, but for now I'm so incredibly tired with this that I may re-think it. Anyway I have to say that I've never had so much fun when drawing something. It literally begged me to spend some more time on it, and I stopped playing games just to get it done. So yeah. I had a lot of fun.
